CallforParticipation

 

 

YouarecordiallyinvitedtoparticipateintheWorkshoponEmergingSensorsandSurveyingTechnologiesthatwillbeheldatShenzhenon12-13December2014.Theworkshopisopentoallresearchstudentsandyoungscientistsinrelatedfields.

 

Rapiddevelopmentsinengineering,micro-electronicsandcomputerscienceshavesignificantlychangedbothsensors/instrumentationsandmethodologiesinAppliedGeodesy,EngineeringSurveyingandrelatedfields.Thisworkshopaimstodiscussthedevelopmentsandapplicationsofemergingsensors,andsharetheideasaboutinnovativesurveyingtechniques.Somerenownedexpertsinthisfields(includingProf.DerekLichti,theeditor-in-chiefof ISPRSJournalofPhotogrammetryandRemoteSensing)willparticipatethisworkshopandgivekeynotepresentations.Itwillbeanidealopportunityforyoungscholarstolearnandsharethelatestprogressesinthefieldofsensorsandsurveyingtechnologies.

 

TheworkshoporganizeralsohostsanISPRSWGII/7&ACMSIGSPATIALCHINAJointWorkshoponSpatialBigDataMiningandVisualization(http://spatial.szu.edu.cn/SBDMV2014.htm)inconjunctionwithIEEEInternationalConferenceonDataMiningon14December2014atShenzhen.ParticipantswillhavetheopportunitytoattendtheISPRS-IEEEjointworkshopafterourevent.

 

Registration

Pleasesendalongabstract(2000words)andyourresume(supervisorname(ifstudent),publicationsandexperiencesonrelatedresearchprojects)to spatial@szu.edu.cn before30October2014,andtheacceptancewillbeinformedbefore10November2014.Theacceptedparticipants(nomorethan30)arerequiredtopresenttheirpaperintheworkshop,and10-15distinguishedworkswillbeselectedandpublishedinjournal(EIorSCIindex)afterfurtherextensions.

 

Fee

Thereisnoregistrationfeeforthisworkshop,andaccommodationandmealwillbecoveredbytheorganizerforacceptedparticipants.Butallparticipantsareresponsiblefortheirowntransportationfee.
